The winner of this year's Miss Tiffany's Universe transvestite beauty contest was announced in Pattaya, Thailand on Saturday. Twenty year old Sorrawee Nattee edged out 29 other competitors to win the annual event. All contestants in the competition were born male. The Miss Tiffany Universe contest has been runing for 12 years aiming to promoting human rights for the transgender population in Thailand, all contestants are transexuals (or transvestites). In Thailand the transexuals are considered a third gender given the Thai name "Katoey". There were 30 final contestants from ages 17 to 25 competing in the contest.
