I completed principal photography over the space of three days, during which I made a couple of trips to Elephanta Island. I shot in HD on a Sony HDV camcorder, with stills shot using a Sony digital camera. The film was shot entirely in a first-person perspective, as I was making the journey myself. I shot stills at several stages of my journey, but mainly inside the main cave, where cinematography requires a legal permit, while still photography is ... Read Full Story

It’s strange, I used to be this pimple faced 15 year old guy listening to strictly top 40 back in in 1994. 15 years later, top 40 is merely a washed out expression in the back of my head. What happened? How did I go from Corona and 2 Unlimited to Hans Zimmer and John Williams? One word: Napster. If it wasn’t for Napster, I would never have started to broaden my horizon in the musical world. Movie Soundtrack Review: This is a review of the motion picture score Spirited Away by Joe Hisaishi. “The dense Eastern instrumentation creates, next to Ponyo, the finest Hisaishi work for a Miyazaki film” If I had to describe the music of Joe Hisaishi based on one concept, I’d laud his never-ending supply of evocative, flowing melodies.  Almost [...]

Let The Games Begin! Did you know that Soundtrackgeek.com now has it’s own game music section? Well it does and it’s spectacular, or at least it will be. I have long been toying with the idea. I’ve asked around and a lot of people are missing the game music section because I didn’t have any before. Sure [...]
