CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SEMI-FINAL: MANCHESTER UNITED GOES INTO THE EUROPEAN CUP FINAL
The one goal needed by FC BARCELONA just did not come &
with the goal scored by MANCHESTER UNITED it was enough
to put the English team into the final of the EUROPEAN CUP.
The 1-0 scoreline was minimal but very effective to shut the
door & sentence the game & a failed season for Barça.

Said this, FC Barcelona tried their best & should return home with
their heads well up. But, they are just words, SFS knows this &
realizes that it does not soothe the disappointment. It can be said
its all frustrating for the Spaniards as it was a silly defensive mistake
that gave the ball to SCHOLES ( above) who hammered in a
beautiful cracker & the only goal in the 13th min.
From then on Barcelona went for it & were unlucky as Deco had
chances that came real close during all the 1º half.

The 2ºhalf was a great piece of Football spectacule as both teams
kept on going forward looking to score. LIONEL MESSI was a
real danger all night, & in SFS opinion eclipsed Cristiano Ronaldo
tonight.

But the keys for Manchester were two men primarily: the Argentine
International dynamo TEVEZ (above) & the South Korean PARK
who were tiredless & destroyed every Barcelona attack. Their
midfield dominance gave tranquility to the whole team & braked
the waves of Barça attacks.
Barcelona put on Henry, Bojan & Gudjohnsson towards the latter part
to give a new impulse to the team, which had its chances, but was not
enough.
So an all English Final, with "The Red Devils" facing the winner of
tomorrows Chelsea FC vs Liverpool FC semi -final clash.
Congratulations Manchester & good luck. For Barcelona its the beginning
of changes for next season, starting possibly with a new coach & the exit
of players. Another season without a title for FC Barcelona is for them
a disaster
