I usually wonder what all the fuss is over celebrities. Then I find myself reading the latest write up on Victoria Beckham in Elle Magazine (January 2008). The majority of it is annoying. Detailed descriptions of what she is wearing and how her mansion is so beautifully decorated. I don't need to read that she was wearing a t-shirt, and I quote "snug enough to reveal the outline of her nipples". Huh? I had to take a second glance at the cover to make sure I wasn't reading Maxim Magazine. She claims that we don't have to spend a lot of money to look ... Read Full Story

The Spice Girls just wrapped up their reunion tour and we are feeling nostalgic already. We want our Spice Girls back! They abruptly ended the tour saying that they were so busy, but we guess they mean that Victoria beckham is really busy. Looks like the girls earned ... Read Full Story

I have it on very good authority that the Spice Girls are to play the o2 Dome in London at the end of the year. At the moment the date is unknown, but a statement from the 5 girls is to take place on June 28th. It is believed it won't be a proper reunion like that of Take That, but a concert, or a series of concerts, to officially to say goodbye and thank you. A greatest hits album is also scheduled to be released in time for Christmas. Mel B is currently in the country as she was spotted at the Hyde ... Read Full Story

If you live in Australia, Argentina and China I am sorry my friend. Because the Spice Gals won't be gracing your civic arenas anytime soon. They are cutting their world tour short, and wrapping it up in Toronto. Why? Well, rumors of poor ticket sales in places other than the UK and US for one. The other is that Scary and Sporty (Mels B and C) reportedly had enough. Mel B wants to get back to her children and scary duck-killing husband. She's also reportedly received numerous offers here in the States since her "Dancing With The Stars" stint. Offers to what? Bang a ... Read Full Story

After all the hype, how many Teabaggers showed up yesterday? Nate's got the numbers, and it isn't pretty. That's just embarrassing. Even with all of that free broadcast media and all of those fatcat backers , the Teabaggers didn't come close to matching the turnout of recent actual grassroots protests And as a point of reference, more than twice as many Americans wanted to see the Spice Girls in concert last year . Put another way, more Americans saw "Race to Witch Mountain" last weekend than all those white people who showed up "Teabag: The Movie" yesterday. Now that's something kinda funny Read Full Story

On June 28, 2007 after months of speculation, the Spice Girls announced a eleven date world wide tour entitled "The Return of the Spice Girls" kicking off in Los Angeles on December 7, 2007.

The tour will support the November release of a greatest hits compilation through Virgin Records. In addition, filmmaker Bob Smeaton will oversee an official documentary on the reformed band, which will be distributed worldwide at an undisclosed date. The group admitted the reunion is unlikely to become permanent. "We want our kids to see what we do," said Beckham, who is married to soccer superstar David. "I might even get to be the cool one in my family for once."
