DIRECTOR Sam Raim has admitted making "a lot of mistakes" with the previous Spider-Man movies - and says he will apply the lessons he has learned to the fourth movie.

Originally the script was to be written by James Vanderbilt but once Raimi and Tobey McGuire were signed back to the franchise, Raimi enlisted a whole new draft of the fourth film with a new writer.
