WFAA.com My Take: The Southern Methodist University basketball team traveled for 12 days across Africa where they ran clinics, learned about the culutre of their three African team-mates from Senegal. Before the trip they took an anthropology class and were accompanied by a professor on the trip, and had daily class meetings. This is an amazing story for a couple of reasons.
