These cards are awesome and the rookies such as Richard Dent and Mike Munchak (who recently rose in value since he was inducted into the hall of fame) are still good cards to have even if they do not have book values of more than $5.  They seem to hold...  

This set may appreciate in value in the coming years as the supply of 1980's football cards should begin to dry up as that tends to happen over time with Topps sports cards.  

Derek Jeter rookie cards are a great find in this year's cards, also Andy Pettite has a rookie card in this set too.  Great World Series champions and likely hall of famers (with Jeter being a very likely first ballot hall of famer).

As reported by Haft on sfgiants.com, Travis Ishikawa was named to Topps' MLB Rookie All-Star Team.
