Antivirus XP 2008 can jump off a cliff.

In the past 24 hours, I:

+ got a nice, fake anti-spyware virus that was among the most annoying & relentless I’ve ever experienced….probably even surpassed the one I got from Windows Update years ago. Yeah. That took literally all day long, including the time I spent trying to fix it myself. I had to format my hard drive and install Windows Vista, which I rather like so far.

+ am getting my laptop serviced ’cause one of the hinges has been broken for awhile and I’m afraid that the cable to the LCD will eventually wear & snap as a result. I figured it was a good time to do it since I just laid down $100 for a new O.S.; though the guy at the shop basically told me that it was almost too old to bother repairing (at under 2 years old…). I likely won’t have internet access until I get back to work next Monday (also when the new semester starts) so you probably won’t hear from me until then, at the very earliest.

Car is still the same. We have (or had) my mother-in-law’s Corolla for awhile and may or may not get it back for the weekend. I think I’m gonna need one of those. Anyway, still no clue about what’s wrong. My parents have AAA and are getting it towed to their place since we can’t really work on it at home. Too bad they only pay for the first 3 miles, and there’s another 4 to go…

Money stuffs aren’t so great right now, as you can see.

Maybe without the computer I can -finally- finishing Breaking Dawn, and possibly start Harry Potter too, hah! I need to go back to pre-1997 when the interwebs didn’t exist (well… for me, at least).
