As the iconography suggests the building houses… shops, shops and shops.This barcode- building called ‘Shtrikh Kod’ is a visually interesting shopping center in St. Petersburg, designed by architects Vitruvius and Sons. Hello, On my second cup of coffee today I was thinking of the controversial and beautiful new architect designs that are being submitted for the Gazprom City, to be built soon. The reason so controversial has to do with the fact that this a long range plan by Putin, St. Petersburg is Putin's Home city. This has some St. Petersburg residence in an uproar, they seem to think that their city is the most beautiful in the world now, mainly due to old world charm. The first Russian Project 22350 frigate being built at a shipyard in St. Petersburg will be launched in 2011, a Russian deputy prime minister said on Thursday. The St. Petersburg-based Severnaya Verf shipyard started building the Admiral Sergei Gorshkov frigate in February 2006. According to military sources, Russia's Navy intends to procure up to 20 such vessels.
