Elite Squadron for the PlayStation Portable turns out to be a bitter disappointment on the handheld with less than stellar controls and handling problems that make the game frustrating and almost unplayable.Contributor: Jeff GedgaudPublished: Nov 23, 2009
When LucasArts released the first Star Wars: Battlefront game back in 2004, players got a boots-on-the-ground feeling in the Star Wars universe. As the Dark Side's power grows, the brother find themselves on opposite sides of the battle with X1 fighting for the Empire and X2...

Although “war” is the operative part of Star Wars, few games have captured that aspect of the movies. Sure, players have take on the role of Luke Skywalker — or more recently the Apprentice – and played through the films, but few games have captured full-scale assaults and epic confrontations as well as the Battlefront [...]
DS and PSP outing in November.
Activision has announced a 6th November release date for Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron on DS and PSP.
The highlights include fighting on ground and air during the same battle, plus a new story about a clone called X2 who has Jedi Master DNA. He was born bad but turned good. His brother...
Revisiting the once popular Battlefield: Long, Long Time Ago formula, Star Wars: Battlefront: Elite Squadron just didn't prove itself new or innovative enough to completely win over reviewer Aaron Koehn.
Lucasarts released a weak-ass trailer today for Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron. The 20-second long clip consists of nothing more than some snazzy-looking CGI while a big warning flashes on the screen saying 'Not Actual Footage'. Rather than waste your... [Click through for full story]
I'm glad Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron's space-to-ground transitions made it into the multiplayer –- there was some initial confusion about whether or not the PSP Infrastructure could handle it. But the final answer is yes. Yes, Elite Squadron can handle all 16 players leaping from space combat to ground battles and back again almost at once. Yes, it can get hectic and confusing. And yes, you will totally love it. What Is It? Star Wars...

The bundles include the likes of Dark Forces, Indiana Jones, KOTOR, Jedi Knight, Monkey Island, Armed and Dangerous, and plenty more. The smaller bundles have been discounted from...
Here's an abbreviated look at a video game for the entire family. • Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Republic Heroes (from LucasArts for PlayStation 3, $49.99) — I expected so much more from a game based on the popular Cartoon Network series that chronicles an interplanetary conflict in a galaxy far, far away. Surely LucasArts could have come up with something better than this mediocre, poorly designed action platformer. More disappointing, Krome...
Be still, beating, midichlorian-infused heart -- LucasArts is looking for players to test its story-driven MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic. The official call to action deftly avoids the use of the B-word and stipulates that the testing will be executed on an extremely limited scale. If you're hoping to get in on the massively-multiplayer lightsaber action, you can sign up on the Account page of the game site. Actually, we really want to...
