In view of this being in effect the mid-season finale, this episode is strange. The greater part of the series is set in an alternate Atlantis, where newly created “copies” of Sheppard, Teyla, McKay, and Ronon discover the mystery of their existence and the state of affairs that existed with their creators the Asurans.
