The Hot Boys of The Amazing Race Season 13

The Amazing Race 13 ended with my favorites, siblings Nick and Starr Spangler, winning the million dollars.  They were the strongest team so the win was no surprise. The runner ups, Ken and Tina, ended reconciling their estranged marriage. It was a tearful and dramatic touch.  Andrew and Dan, the unlikely 3^rd runner ups, won over audience with their clumsy rise to the top three teams.

As with many of these reality shows, there are standouts with personalities that emerge whose star qualities will follow them long after the show has ended. They are the two hunks of the show, Nick Spangler and Dallas Imbimbo.

Dallas and Toni Imbimbo

Nick is an aspiring actor who hails from Mountain View, California. He is appearing in the off Broadway production of The Fantasticks. He has received good reviews from this and previous productions for his musical performances. Coupled with his boyish good looks and his recent exposure to a wider audience from the Amazing Race, I assume that this has only put his career on overdrive.

As far as personal life, Nick has a girlfriend and, despite some rumors, is totally straight. He jokes that in a profession where a lot of his male colleagues are gay, it gives him kind of a home advantage with the women.  

At only 22 years old Nick Starr, definitely has a bright future ahead.

Dallas Imbimbo joined his mother for a chance at the million dollars. Through a passport mishap and some other unfortunate directional mistakes, it took their favored team out of the competition earlier than expected. Imbimbo’s handsome athletic looks won him a fan base quickly. His relationship with his mother was also admirable.  There is also a connection with the Spanglers. It seems that Starr Spangler and Dallas are dating.  A writer could not have written a more perfect storyline. It keeps all the good looks together. J 

Some controversy arose recently when a nude photo of Imbimbo surfaced on the Internet. However, it seems that Imbimbo has not been really phased by it.  He also exudes the kind of star quality that I would not be surprise if we do not seem him again on the tube somewhere.
