Scrapbooking

By proofpositivity on  From mythoughts-ssb.blogspot.com
This is from Nate's scrapbook. What I did was put him in a Winnie The Pooh outfit took a picture of him laying down and cut it and glued it after I drew the tree, honey pot, and grass. This one is the same thing I had the idea of putting him in a clothes basket and I took a picture. drew a clothesline and there you have it. This one states: Friday, September 26, 2003 "Aren't I cute: I can hold up my head. I like to play roll- the - baby. I love story time. I'm looking for an equally cute and...Read Full Story

Leo The Late Bloomer

By proofpositivity on  From mythoughts-ssb.blogspot.com
There is a children's book that reminds me of my oldest. My oldest is scared of everything. He won't go down covered slides, screams if I turn off the light, a whole list of things. He spent one week at grandmas and now he'll go on the slide. He asked me to turn his bed into a tent which made it dark. One week and he bloomed. Leo wouldn't do a lot of things then over night he bloomed. I thought he was forever going to be scared of the dark. I guess they do outgrow it after all.Read Full Story

starting up again

By Felicia on  From menearfamily.blogspot.com
This post went to such a dark place I wanted to come back and start with a positive note!  My kids are doing great.  Growing fast and keeping me busy.  Pushing my buttons and testing my patience!  And yes most days with the hubby things are amazing. As long as I don't have a blue (depressed possible delusional) day! Oh, where to begin?  I haven't posted in so long.  I've wanted to, but there is never enough time in the day.  I've realized i need to start making time for things I want to do...Read Full Story

Memorial day fun!

By Felicia on  From menearfamily.blogspot.com
Even though Evie was a little sick we stuck to our memorial day plans.  How can you tell a 4 year old she can't go to the zoo just because her eye hurts.  Online it said she wasn't contagious cause it wasn't seeping anymore.  Plus, we've all been sanitizing hands like mad!  We had so much fun, but it was so hot!  Then we went to eat at an old fashioned burger place. It was good, but I remember it being better!  Then we went to a store and were there for an eternity and didn't even buy much...Read Full Story

Ugh

By Felicia on  From menearfamily.blogspot.com
Also the kids still have coughs. Topher's coughs are the worst. When ever he gets to coughing he usually can't stop and ends up vomiting. I hope he doesn't have trouble next year at school. He'll probably get sent home a lot! But he's not really sick it just all comes out from him coughing so bad.  On top of all his other problems he supposedly has reactive airway disease, and exercise induced asthma. I just hope it doesn't prevent him from being in sports. Although I was told he is to young...Read Full Story
