Bethany's Hockey Rants Previous entry: Jackets in LA by Bethany on 12/29/08 at 06:13 PM ET Comments (2) The Jackets are playing the Kings tonight, Mason is in net for the Blue Jackets, and Quick is in net again for the Kings.  I found it interesting that Hitchcock wanted to shake things up with the goaltender and put Leclaire in, but that’s just me.  Mason is riding a shutout and is obviously the hot goaltender and you have to go with that. By BethanyM85 on  From bethanyshockeyrants.com
This week was HUGE for the Columbus Blue Jackets, we had Development Camp, we gave Hitch an extension, and we made some key signings.  As I said Development Camp was this week, and the big names that were participating were of course, Jakub Voracek, Stefan Legein, Maxim Mayorov, and Cody Goloubef.  I was unable to attend Development Camp, but from what I heard Voracek was amazing, at least according to Aaron Portzline who had this to say : – Voracek is having a very good camp, too. On Day 1...Read Full Story

Bethany's Hockey Rants Previous entry: Hockey & School by Bethany on 12/10/08 at 06:24 PM ET Comments (2) Good news!  Derek Dorsett is back to practice .  That is great news for our hockey club, he brings a real passion to the ice, you can tell he’s thankful to be in the NHL, and playing with these men.  Passion is something that the team seems to be really lacking, so the sooner he is back, the better.  Unfortunately he won’t be back in time for the game tomorrow.  The Preds...Read Full Story
