Birkitt Not Banned from CBS

David Letterman's production company tells "Extra" that "Late Night" staffer Stephanie Birkitt is not banned from CBS studios in New York City. Worldwide Pants says "there is no truth to reports" that Birkitt is banned. The company adds, "Stephanie is on a paid leave of absence." Last week, Birkitt's ex-boyfriend Robert "Joe" Halderman allegedly threatened to blackmail Letterman for $2 million to prevent release of information about the late night host's affair with Birkitt.
