A successful ‘JAG’ spin-off about criminal cases involving Navy and Marine personnel, handled by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. The second season introduced Timothy McGee as a new agent, and the series title was shortened from ‘Navy NCIS’ to ‘NCIS.’
