Steven Wright Comedy

Steven Wright? The comedian? I love his work! Did you know that when Steven Wright was younger he worked at a fire hydrant factory, and he could never park near the place. I went to the Feedmill on Sunday and on the menu it said, "Breakfast served any time". So I order french toast from the Renaissance.  

Comic Steven Wright has a peculiar - and very funny - way of observing everyday life.Steven Wright's wry delivery emerged from fear of being onstage without hearing laughter. Wright, appearing Saturday at John Ascuaga's Nugget, relies on quick observations like "It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it." Or, "A friend of mine has a trophy wife, but apparently it wasn't first place." Wright has what is nearly impossible...  

Always a man of few words, the delightfully deadpan and surprisingly philosophical Steven Wright has in the last few years shied from acting to focus on his live show, his music, and his painting....
