It was released on September 26, 2006 in the US by Volcano Records, on September 30, 2006 in Australia, on October 3 in Canada, on October 6, 2006 in New Zealand, and November 24, 2006 in Germany. As of October 16, 2006, Yankovic's UK label "grudgingly agreed" and released the album on November 13, 2006.

I was listening to Weird Al's album, Bad Hair Day . I was laughing like it was the first time I had heard the album. Weird Al is great, but I set to the internet to see what he's been up to recently. Of course, I have Straight Outta Lynwood f rom 2006, but that's been three years. I found this video about Craigslist , which has a Jim Morrison inspired Doors theme and a Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas styled video.
