It was released on September 26, 2006 in the US by Volcano Records, on September 30, 2006 in Australia, on October 3 in Canada, on October 6, 2006 in New Zealand, and November 24, 2006 in Germany. As of October 16, 2006, Yankovic's UK label "grudgingly agreed" and released the album on November 13, 2006.
It sounded like a real good idea when we started it — two full discs and 38 songs of Weird Al — but let me tell ya, 38 songs worth of Weird Al when you're trying to work is a lot of Weird Al.
It ended up taking us a week to listen to this all the way through. Don't get us wrong, we still love Al around here. But our love is best doled out in occasional three minute doses to cleanse the palate of clap-happy gangsinging hipster bullshit...
