Manila is the capital city of the Philipines, a

Manila town is the second biggest city in Philipines, after Quezon city. Quezon town is additionally part of Metro Manila, and is the previous capital of Philipines. Since Tokyo isn't an individual city but instead a urban area like Metro Manila, the overall density of Tokyo and Manila are similar.
Metropolitan Manila really is massive, and each of its cities on its own constitutes a giant town. Manila town alone is divided into sixteen local districts. Each one of these 16 districts has its own individual features and flavours and are fun to explore and get a feel for. Intramuros is the location of old Manila, with a historical flavor. Binodo encompasses the Chinatown district. Ermita and Malate are trendy areas where many Western hostels and higher class shopping centers are found. And the areas of San Miguel and Pandacan are the location of the capital's government pavilions and the President's official place of residence. With all of these different and exotic local areas, it's easy to spend a few days exploring Manila before you move on.
