Investments Will Benefit 25,000 Rural Customers in 19 States WASHINGTON. - Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack today announced that 23 rural utilities and cooperatives in 19 states have been selected to receive $794 million in loans to build and repair 3,373 miles of distribution and transmission lines and make system improvements that will benefit 24,959 rural customers.
