The Zenvo ST1 limited edition luxurious and extremely powerful supercar made its debut appearance at the Dubai Motor Show. Phil Blizzard spoke with Jesper Jensen, CEO and Founder, Zenvo Automotive to get the details on the supercar from Denmark.

Lexus LFA (courtesy: lexus) I am not completely sold on the Lexus LFA supercar that will go on sale in January of 2011. Regardless of the price, which is a steep $375,000, I just do not find the design to be appealing. Given that I am not in the target market for this car, I doubt that Lexus really cares what I think. What Lexus does care about, however, is the potential for the limited edition LFA to become a pawn in a speculator's chess...

The last supercar to come directly from Ford was the Ford GT, which ended production in 2006. Then there was the Ford-based Saleen S7 supercar, and now Kepler Motors is utilizing a Ford-based 550 horsepower 3.5-liter, twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 in conjunction with a 250 hp electric motor to propel its latest supercar creation. Capstone Turbine Corporation has shown off its high performance hybrid electric car, the CMT-380, at the LA Auto Show. The car features a 30kW microturbine that extends the range of its traditional EV batteries, and which the company likens to having an ultra-clean and quiet jet engine under the hood.  

Capstone Turbine Corp. is pushing traditional hybrid-electric vehicle barriers with the introduction of the CMT-380, a high-performance, hybrid-electric supercar powered by traditional batteries and an untraditional, ultra-low emission, range-extending microturbine.
