Marketing Daily is reporting a new study that says men are confused by supermarkets. The author of the study, Mandy Putnam, vice president at consulting firm TNS Retail Forward, says that, "Grocery stores are not organized in ways that support ease of shopping for male grocery shoppers. Men shopping alone circle back through aisles multiple times in their searches, often become overwhelmed in center-store aisles, and often focus their attention within a fairly narrow visual range. If you're looking for bargain air travel, a newly released study finds that you should look at more than just the ticket price. Instead, a researcher at North Carolina State University who co-authored the study says that consumers need to consider the quality of the flights being offered in order to get the best "price efficiency". The study compared flights and "price efficiencies" from several Internet travel agent Web sites. Because each site offers widely different flights some flights might have lengthy layovers or multiple connections -it is unwise to simply compare prices. I bought some diesel today from a supermarket filling station (I won’t embarrass them by publishing the name. Plus they’d probably sue me for publishing company secrets!) and while I was in the queue to pay I heard a conversation between three members of staff regarding the restocking of the shop in the filling station.
