Medewi is located in western of Bali, the far-off regency of Jembrana 95 kilometers from Denpasar (it's around 2 hours by Car / Motor Bike). All that can be seen are a string of houses and a solitary mosque along the highway. Medewi is an awesome surf break in a very small town in northern Bali.  Here are a few bits of advice if you're planning a trip to Medewi: 1. Bring reef boots - the rocks are sharp here and the entrance to the break is hairy.  Lots of sea urchins in the shallows 2. Bring a deck of cards - there is ZERO to do in the town, no nightclubs here.  There are a couple of small restaurants but that's about it 3.
