SEATTLE - The Washington State Public Discolsure Commission announced Wednesday it will investigate an allegation that King County Executive candidate Susan Hutchison’s campaign failed to disclose information about campaign contributions. Specifically, they’re looking into a private home in Seattle’s Laurelhurst neighborhood. Hutchison’s campaign manager also lives in that home. The PDC is concerned that the home is an in-kind contribution that was not reported. Ostensibly, this is a non-partisan race, pitting King County Councilmember Dow Constantine (a far left liberal associated with failed county economic and budgetary policies) against conservative-leaning former TV anchor Susan Hutchison. Susan Hutchison is stepping out from behind the news desk and aiming for City Hall. Susan Hutchison, former news anchor for KIRO-TV news in Seattle, is aiming to become a part of city politics next. The former anchorwoman will be running for the role of King County executive. Topics ranged from Light Rail and potential Green River flooding to the budget and partisan politics.
