This is egregiously unprofessional conduct that breaches the basic canons of ethics for journalists. This behavior wouldn’t be permissible in a junior high journalism program, let alone during live coverage of a significant event on a major news network. What has happened to CNN? They have never been known for their objectivity, politically speaking. But, in the last 2 or 3 years, they have gone off the deep end in their "reporting."
