Live at the Bijou Cafe!
About once a month the Bijou Cafe, which is usually just a breakfast spot, transforms into a Jazz club. The audience is totally dedicated to listening, the food is excellent and the musicians are the best in town.Last night I played there with a fantastic band and recorded the show with my new Zoom H4 digital recorder. After the show I stayed up until about four in the morning editing the show down to seven tunes.
The band featured the amazing Grammy nominated vocalist Nancy King, vocalist and trumpeter Robert Moore, pianist Steve Christoffersen, Glen Moore on bass (from the group Oregon), and Alan Jones on drums (who recently returned from Bavaria) and myself on tenor.
