i was watching the news this past afternoon and I saw this interesting clip on ctv. David Suzuki confronted current environment minister John Baird on his recent climate change plan announcement. Mr Baird was not expecting to see Suzuki hiding a throng of reporters. Mr. Suzuki went on to express his disappointment to the governments announcements. He did not budge but kept on talking. You could tell Mr. Baird was visibly shaken and in order to compensate said some strong party rederect about the environment. A team of 26 climate scientists from Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States have published the “Copenhagen Diagnosis”, an interim synthesis report on developments in climate change science from mid-2006 to the present day. The report points out that many key harbingers of climate change “are occurring at the high end or even beyond the expectations of only a few years ago."”
