Sylvain Chavanel triumphed in the second stage of the Tour de France on Monday, taking over the Yellow Jersey as many other riders struggled with roads left slick by rain. Chavanel, 31, and seven other riders broke away from the main peloton after about seven miles into the race. Tour de France is just around the corner, and Sylvain Chavanel will be riding for Quick Step.
