Robot Leads The Detroit Symphony Orchestra

A robot conducted the Detroit Symphony Orchestra on May 13th. The Asimo robot built by Honda successfully led accomplished cellist Yo-Yo Ma and the rest of the orchestra in a performance of The Impossible Dream from Man of la Mancha and the performance went without a hitch. I must say that even though I have this thing about real life robots, the Asimo looked cool in a weird sort of way swinging those robotic arms up and down!
