Six people, including two Iranians and four Syrians were killed when a bomb targetted an Iranian pilgrims bus exploded in Damascus on Thursday as Syrian security forces cordoned the site of the blast.
Eyewitnesses told KUNA that ambulances and medical teams rushed tens of killed and injured people to nearby Imam Khomeni Hospital.
The blast occurred near a petrol station south of the shrine Shiite saint Sayeda Zainab in Damascus.

A senior Russian official confirms inking a contract for supplying Syria with the advanced MiG-31 fighter jets but adds that the deal has not yet been sealed.

Tartus in Syria The Russian Navy will expand and modernize its Soviet-era naval maintenance site near Tartus in Syria to support anti-piracy operations off the Somali coast, a high-ranking navy source said on Monday.
