I was positively drooling over many of the gowns from this show...Yards of vintage floral printed silk, lace, embroidered tulle, burnout velvet.  If I could, I wear these fabrics 24/7.  Unfortunately, my lifestyle doesn't allow it.  However, seeing the frocks down the runway, it allowed me to dream. Oh my heart. I love Tadashi Shoji's Fall 2012 Ready-to-Wear collection. Of his line, Shoji was quoted saying that the feeling of the collection is "...ominous, as if something is coming." The drop-waist dresses are kind of my favorite. Unfortunately, there were about 3 velvet gowns and I am having a panic attack just looking at it. The mood of the Tadashi Shoji collection was somber &  rather dark.
