A passenger train crashed into another train early Wednesday near the Taj Mahal in northern India, killing at least two people and trapping scores of people in a smashed coach, an official said. Rescuers used gas cutters to open the smashed rear coach following the collision near Agra, the site of the Taj Mahal about 130 miles (210 kilometers) southeast of New Delhi, said Suresh Chandra Sharma, the district magistrate.
