Fianna Fail: Too wedded to their well-heeled pals.

If you think that things are bad now…you ain’t seen nothing yet.
Here’s what I think is going on behind the scenes.
Right now the property and the financial crooks who had been facilitated in their bleeding of the country dry by our present government are in ‘negotiations’ with the said government in order that as many as possible can extricate themselves from their acts of thievery. Until the sharing of the spoils is complete nothing of substance will be done to rectify the fact the the country is broke.
We are now going to have to go, with our pathetic little begging bowls, from one international financial institution to another to borrow money at exorbitant interest rates which, even if we get it at all, will not be enough to enable the nation to survive to the point where we will have anything like the standard of living that we have become used to.
Brian Cowen can make all the urging us to patriotism speeches he likes but, until someone is brought to book for the 11 or so years of this Fianna Fail administration of ineptitude and corrupt practices, no one will believe one word that issues from this government.
It’s rich to hear any member of the present cabinet talking of patriotic duty when they, collectively, supported the lies of Bertie Ahern who took hundreds of thousands for his own benefit and who, in turn, said that the Godfather of anti-democratic practices Charles J Haughey was a ‘patriot to his fingertips’.
I don’t think we need anymore patriots!
