Tatum O’Neal is an American actress. Best known for her work as a child star in the 1970’s she remains the youngest actor/actress to win an Academy Award, at the age of 10 for her role in Paper Moon. Since her childhood she’s regained fame, starring in the TV series Rescue Me. She was previously married to tennis star John McEnroe, they had three children together, but are divorced. Historically, she’s had problems with drugs and alcohol, recently being arrested for possession of crack cocaine.
Former child star and Oscar winner Tatum O’Neal will keep her gig on TV show Rescue Me. Just a few weeks back, O’Neal was charged with possession of a controlled substance. She was caught buying drugs off a homeless man near her New York apartment, and has been heavily scrutinized by the media because of her use of several contradicting excuses, from “researching a role” to being depressed about the death of her dog.
