Long Island Iced Tea Ingredients and Components

You'd never expect it, Long Island Iced tea doesn't have any iced tea! I expected it to have some tea, or atleast some tea flavoring...

From what I read at http://love4teas.com/ (a neat little site dedicated to the drink), long island ice tea is just a mix of a few different hard alcohols, lemon juice, sugar, and some cola!

Lemon juice, sugar, and cola are the only non alcoholic components; but no ice tea! Wow, pretty weird. Maybe I'm the only one who's this excited about this, maybe a little too excited! Well, maybe i'll try to make my own long island with some lipton iced tea and see how it comes out!
