The death of beloved R&B singer Teddy Pendergrass at the age of 59 last week shocked fans, who are mourning the musician at viewing in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania today. Tenika Watson, a transsexual nightclub performer, was in the car the night of March 18, 1982 when R&B legend Teddy Pendergrass crashed his Rolls-Royce, and became paralyzed from the waist down. Teddy Pendergrass Dead at 59

Teddy Pendergrass, an R&B legend, passed away yesterday at 59 after a battle with colon cancer. He was diagnosed with cancer last year, and apparently had trouble recovering from a surgery. He died at Bryn Mawr Hospital outside of Philadelphia, according to RollingStone.com.
