Even though he won’t be returning to the Ducks lineup for several more weeks, Teemu Selanne has been a welcome sight at Ducks practices. Finnish hockey star Teemu Selanne underwent left hand surgery on Friday that will sideline the 39-year-old Anaheim Ducks winger for four to six weeks of the National Hockey League season. Selanne suffered a broken bone in the hand Thursday night in a loss to the Dallas Stars when struck by a shot from Dallas defenseman Karlis Skrastins. X-rays showed a break near the knuckle below Selanne's middle finger. Selanne, nicknamed the "Finnish Flash" in his heyday, has scored 14 goals in 27 games so far this seaosn, giving him a total of 593 goals and 640 assists in 1,159 career NHL regular-season games.
