Among my favorite fighting games has always been the Tekken Series. In the past the game has prided itself on realistic martial arts battles as opposed to Street Fighter where you basically have two dudes tossing fireballs at each other all day. Tekken's slogan was "The burning in your chest is from your broken ribs, not from some fireball." After a year since it's annoucement for the XB360, Namco's venerable fighting game series has finally debuted and it's definately worth the wait. I'm sure most of you are familiar with the current storyline which involves Jin kazama's quest for global dominance so I'll skip the synopsis and just get to the basics.

Namco Bandai has only expelled the Tekken 6 Arcade soundtrack on iTunes for $5.99 along with the 32-track Tekken 2 soundtrack for $7.99. The colonnade soundtrack acts especially as a teaser, as the full console-based soundtrack facilities a full 3-discs of song and will be expelled this month in Japan.

Namco Bandai Games Europe has announced that development is now complete on Tekken 6 for PSP, with the handheld title set to hit retailers across Europe on December 11, 2009.
