Quote of the Week : Physicians still do pretty well, we’re not murdering it like we used to. (Mick – Survivor ) Song of the Week : Someday Never Comes - Billy Valentine and the Forrest Rangers ( Sons of Anarchy ) Big News of the Week : Scooter Commandeers a Wii : For whatever reason, my sister has left her Wii with me until she comes back for Christmas so that is a month of Mario Kart practice so the next time I play my cousin’s six year old, I’ll be the one doing the victory dancing. Anyone interested in getting beat like ... Read Full Story

As a wise man once told me, this is the most wonderful time of the year. And you can see it in all the Christmas traditions. Let’s face it, Christmas songs and movies are not the best written things ever, but yet each December we enjoy them both with a smile on our faces and not pick them apart like we do non-holiday themed entertainment the rest of the year. I know I will be cozying up next to the fire more than one night with ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas. Here is the complete schedule for the 2009 holidays: Tuesday, December 1 ... Read Full Story

The Prisoner : This was someone entertaining, but a little too David Lynchy at times. And it didn’t take me that long to figure out what The Village was, although I wasn’t able to figure out what 6’s part in all of it. Still I would have preferred the show to play across six straight Sundays rather than the six hours over three days like it was. But in the ends I wish networks would do more of these quick one and done shows like this. How I Met Your Mother : How stupid are these people, I knew from the very beginning that ... Read Full Story

Quote of the Week : What, like the first rule of Perv Club is no talking about Perv Club. (Ronnie - Mercy ) Song of the Week : Evil Woman – Electric Light Orchestra (as sung by Jeff, Community ) Big News of the Week : Hank and Eastwick: Dead and Dead : Not that I care. And neither of the show showed up the list of The Best New Shows of Fall 2009 that I released earlier this week. And some of the bloggers who took part in the survey posted their ballots. You can check them out on their sites: Give Me ... Read Full Story
(S04E04) Life is what happens while you're busy making plans. Matt hasn't exactly been the architect of his future, but the Dillon former quarterback has been plugging along. This week found Saracen in the cross hairs emotionally. The Taylors, meanwhile, continue to struggle through the professional turmoil, and the younger set in Dillon has definite issues -- some good, some not-so-good. Then there's Buddy Garrity. If he's not a Panther...

(S03E09) As soon as I read the episode info and saw that Kripke was going to be making an appearance, I lost all hope of this episode coming anywhere close to matching the brilliance of last week's. I was not wrong. I don't like Kripke. I don't find a speech impediment to be funny, and with him, it's completely extraneous. Sheldon could just have an enemy (I don't doubt he had many, in fact). You don't need to give the character this extra...
