The team of Happy Days in jubilant mood! As the response for the film from everywhere is encouraging and the mouth talk is spreading, the team has celebrated its success happily. On Thursday night, the entire crew along with some prominent film personalities celebrated it at Durgam Cheruvu. Producer M S Raju, directors Sukumar and Tammareddy Bharadwaja and music director Devi Sri Prasad showered praises on the team and complimented Sekhar for his daring attitude.
I would retire if I give flops: Sekhar
Sekhar Kammula, on other hand, promised that he would continue making films in his own style and would not rest with these laurels. "I might have delivered a hat-trick of successes. But I won't stop with this. It is not like giving a series of hits and become lousy after that. I am not going to rest. The moment my films stop entertaining the audiences, I would retire from making films," Sekhar proclaimed.
He also said that he knew from the beginning of the film that it would be a sure hit. "When I went to see the film in Kukatpally and RTC X Roads and seeing the response from all the audiences, I am convinced that my conviction paid off," he said.
It's technician's film
"The film's success largely owes to our technicians. Vijay Kumar's cinematography, and Marthand Venkatesh's editing made a lot of difference. We have used almost 50 dissolves in the film. Such film needs Digital Intermediate to get the cool effect. Even the team at Prime Focus worked hard to give the real DI effect. They worked hard for one month. And you know the result now. Music is another outstanding feature. Mickey J Meyer will go places after this. All the youngsters in the film have done so well. When we conducted workshop, they always used to practicing each moment. I have enjoyed the proceedings and making of the film. Their performances is spotless and on the level of Oscar worthy," he exulted.
He also thanked producer Dil Raju for buying the rights and releasing it across the state.
Dil Raju said that he is seeing a great wave that crated when Prema Desam released a decade ago.
Music director Devi Sri Prasad complimented the young music director Mickey J Meyer. "When I first saw promos, two features struck with me - Sekhar's direction and music. Since then I was eager to watch the movie. In the film, I loved all the character and the music. The background score is excellent," he praised.
Producer M S Raju said he felt like watching Hum Aapke Hai Kaun. "It also brought me my college day memories back. Every actor in the film is so natural. I will definitely use these young talents in my further films. I will also give the chance to Mickey Meyer,' M S Raju promised.
Tammareddy Bharadwaja complimented Sekhar in his style. The cast and crew also spoke on the occasion.
