Terence Newman, who had an outstanding game against the Redskins, shutting down Santana Moss and allowing him only five catches for 29 yards, is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers. Newman also had 7 tackles and an interception, and made one of the key plays of the game when he defensed the fourth and four play that the Redskins were unable to convert, allowing the Cowboys to take possession and run out the remainder of the clock. Just beating a deadline that could have changed their salary cap cash, the Cowboys came to terms on Tuesday with two top players on long-term deals; running back Marion Barber and cornerback Terence Newman. Both inked deals that will keep them in Big D through 2014. Reports say that Barber’s deal gives him $45 mil over seven-years with $16 mil in guaranteed money.
