According to Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com ,  if the Dallas Cowboys decide to release cornerback Terence Newman this offseason,  they’ll save themselves $4 million in cap space for the 2012 season. Newman is set to make $8 million dollars next season and at the age of 33,  it doesn’t make sense to keep him around as he continues to decline. Terence Newman recevied a six-year extension worth 50.2 million dollars and Marion Barber agreed to a 45 million dollar deal which included 16 million dollars in guaranteed money.
