According to Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com ,  if the Dallas Cowboys decide to release cornerback Terence Newman this offseason,  they’ll save themselves $4 million in cap space for the 2012 season. Newman is set to make $8 million dollars next season and at the age of 33,  it doesn’t make sense to keep him around as he continues to decline.
