An Open Letter to the Terminator Owners. From a Very Important Hollywood Mogul: Dear Sirs/Ma’ams, I am Joss Whedon, the mastermind behind Titan A.E. , Parenthood (not the movie) (or the new series) (or the one where ‘hood’ was capitalized ’cause it was a pun), and myriad other legendary tales. I have heard through the ‘grapevine’ that the Terminator franchise is for sale, and I am prepared to make a pre-emptive bid RIGHT NOW to wrap this dealio up. This is not a joke, this is not a scam, this is not available on TV. I will write a check TODAY for $10,000, and ... Read Full Story

After watching this 4th of the Terminator series, it is clear to me that James Cameron was the key reason behind the Terminator series’s success. McG, the director of this film, seems to be gifted in action sequences but rather poor in editing. Everyone knows that very few films will ever measure up to the first two Terminator films. The 2nd Terminator (Judgement Day) still ranks as one of the greatest action movies of all time and the 1st Terminator does not rank too far behind. This is an entertaining film which will unfortunately forever be compared to the first 2 films. This film ... Read Full Story

Like any guy who grew up in the 1980s, I sure did enjoy me some Friday After Dark, now a cottage industry affectionately known as Skinemax. And because it's not quite Friday and not quite Saturday, here's the closest thing to Skinemax we can get away with and keep our advertisers. There was a lot of debate leading up to the release of Terminator Salvation about whether or not to keep a topless scene featuring Moon Bloodgood . The studio decided against it, in order to preserve a completely meaningless PG-13 rating. So not surprisingly, the scene turns up as a bonus feature on ... Read Full Story
