The National Football post has an interesting comment from Ravens LB Ray Lewis, who thinks Jamal Lewis should keep playing after this year: Cleveland Browns running back Jamal Lewis is serious about his plans to retire after this season. However, Baltimore Ravens middle linebacker Ray Lewis, who will face off with his friend Monday night, doesn’t agree with that decision. “Hopefully, he gets a spark that changes his mind,” Ray Lewis said. “Do I want him to leave? No jelly donuts for officers of Baltimore, Maryland. At least not when Ray Lewis is around. The inside linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens is using his onfield fitness know how to help whip Baltimore's police officers into great fitness shape. Each Tuesday night - for one hour - the officers participate in the Ray Lewis 'boot camp' style workout session. Whether it be jump rope, push ups, sit ups, Lewis won't let up. Running back Jamal Lewis and kicker Phil Dawson have been placed on the inactive list by the Cleveland Browns in their game against the Baltimore Ravens. Lewis has been hampered by a hamstring injury and Dawson is out with a sore right calf. Lewis leads the winless Browns with 95 yards rushing on 25 carries. Dawson is the team's leading scorer with 14 points. Lewis will be replaced Sunday by the tandem of James Davis and Jerome Harrison, and Billy Cundiff is expected to do the kicking. WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Baltimore Ravens have agreed a six year $63 million contract with outside linebacker Terrell Suggs, the NFL team said Wednesday. Suggs was heading into the final year of his deal with the team he joined in the first round of the 2003 draft and would have become a free agent at the end of the upcoming campaign. Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis and safety Ed Reed will not be fined for disparaging comments made regarding the officiating in Sunday’s game against the Patriots, league executive Ray Anderson decided Tuesday. Anderson’s decision was relayed through a league spokesman.
