Last week a restraining order was issued against Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs. Today the Baltimore Sun has published the ugly details of that restraining order, in which a woman who says she’s the mother of Suggs’ children claims he hit her, knocked her down, and spilled bleach on her while threatening her with it.
The woman, Candace Williams, identifies herself as Suggs’ fiancee and the mother of his two children, although Suggs told the Baltimore Sun he is not in a... Read Full Story

Last night the Ravens returned to the national stage in hopes of snapping a five-game losing streak on Monday night and keeping pace with the Wild Card race in the AFC.
Things looked ugly between the two division rival for the first thirty minutes. The Ravens offense bumbled its way through the first half with miscommunication, and an inability to move the football. However, it took just two plays within the span of 17 seconds in the third quarter for everything to change.

Running back Jamal Lewis and kicker Phil Dawson have been placed on the inactive list by the Cleveland Browns in their game against the Baltimore Ravens. Lewis has been hampered by a hamstring injury and Dawson is out with a sore right calf. Lewis leads the winless Browns with 95 yards rushing on 25 carries. Dawson is the team's leading scorer with 14 points. Lewis will be replaced Sunday by the tandem of James Davis and Jerome Harrison, and Billy Cundiff is expected to do the kicking. The... Suggs was heading into the final year of his deal with the team he joined in the first round of the 2003 draft and would have become a free agent at the end of the upcoming campaign. "Getting a deal done with Terrell is consistent with our history of retaining our best Pro Bowl players, like Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Jonathan Ogden, Todd Heap... Read Full Story
The National Football post has an interesting comment from Ravens LB Ray Lewis, who thinks Jamal Lewis should keep playing after this year:
Cleveland Browns running back Jamal Lewis is serious about his plans to retire after this season. However, Baltimore Ravens middle linebacker Ray Lewis, who will face off with his friend Monday night, doesn’t agree with that decision. “Hopefully, he gets a spark that changes his mind,” Ray Lewis said. “Do I want him to leave? No. He has plenty of... Read Full Story
The Baltimore Ravens have a lot riding on this offseason. First, they lost Defensive Coordinator Rex Ryan to the Jets. They may also lose the heart and soul of their Defense if Ray Lewis jumps ship. The three biggest free agents for the Ravens come on Defense. I don’t see a scenario where Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs, and Bart Scott can all come back. They’ll still have Ed Reed and several other Defensive standouts, but losing any of these three will be a blow.

No jelly donuts for officers of Baltimore, Maryland. At least not when Ray Lewis is around. The inside linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens is using his onfield fitness know how to help whip Baltimore's police officers into great fitness shape. Each Tuesday night - for one hour - the officers participate in the Ray Lewis 'boot camp' style workout session. Whether it be jump rope, push ups, sit ups, Lewis won't let up. In the first 30 days of the program, officers are seeing results. Watch the... Read Full Story
