Terrence Kiel, the troubled former safety for the San Diego Chargers, died late Friday in a car crash. Kiel, who played four years in the NFL from 2003-2006, was leaving a party when his 2004 Chevy sedan hit a wall and he was thrown from the car. The 27-year-old was pinned beneath the hood of the vehicle and was barely breathing when paramedics reached the scene. An air ambulance was called in, but Kiel died en route. San Diego police are saying that former Chargers safety Terrence Kiel was thrown from a Chevy Sedan he was driving and killed. Kiel, 27, was driving home from a party just after 10:00pm PT when he hit a wall in the Scripps Ranch neighborhood and was thrown from the car.
