In an interview with the U.K.'s Sun newspaper, the funnyman says he'd like to play the curmudgeon American Idol judge in a biopic someday.

Simon Cowell went to his frenemy Ryan Seacrest’s radio show today to talk about his ex’s attack after the “American Idol” finale Tuesday night. Idol fan Janice Thibodeaux approached Seymour and allegedly tried to choke her.
Cowell said his initial reaction was that it must be a joke.
“She called me and, yeah, she was attacked outside,” he said of Seymour. “Literally, a frenzied attack. Nearly strangled.”
