As a type of unconventional warfare, terrorism means to weaken or supplant existing political landscapes through capitulation, acquiescence, or radicalization, as opposed to subversion or direct military action.

Today we remember the 9-11 that changed our lives forever, September 11, 2001. All over our country, the pettiness of politics is laid aside and we are, once again, all Americans. That day made us feel our own mortality and realize life is but a breath in the larger scheme of things. Iknow that this was a horrific experience for the whole country. For me, talking and writing which I do best eases my tension and makes it easier to cope.
