The Press Complaints Commission inquiry may have found no new phone hacking evidence following Guardian revelations in July 2009, but speculation over phone tapping activities at News of the World just won’t go away. David Mills has been given a jail sentence in Italy for corruption, though sadly he will probably escape jail as the rich and well connected normally do. Tessa Jowell actively participated in the laundering of the corrupt payments from Silvio Berlusconi, given to her husband David Mills in return for false testimony in court to cover up some of Berlusconi's endless crooked dealings. Olympics Minister Tessa Jowell came under attack today for taking a trip to Brazil which included tickets to watch Lewis Hamilton in the Grand Prix at the weekend. Ms Jowell and two government officials were at the Interlagos circuit to witness Hamilton becoming the youngest Formula One champion at the start of their five-day excursion funded by the British taxpayer. Ms Jowell was the guest of Brazilian sports minister Orlando Silva.
